Begonias in the winter time

Posted on 14 December 20258 January 2026 by begoniaweirdo.com

Living in the mountains during the winter many of my Begonias slow to a halt on growth, some go dormant. A few rhizomatous species lose all their leaves, just leaving a barren rhizome, that will return in the spring. While others such as this supposed form of Begonia luzhaiensis absolutely flourish.
