My Hybrids

This is a hybrid between Begonia aff. lambii and Begonia u679

It is named after the vampire character Laszlo from the show What we do in the shadows.

Begonia ‘Pan Dulce’

Begonia ‘Pan Dulce’ is another ningmingensis var bella cross I did but this one is with Begonia goegoensis. I am still waiting on it to bloom so I can register it.

It is named after Mexican sweet breads.

Begonia ‘Fristal’

Begonia ‘Fristal’ is a hybrid between B. melanobullata and B. ningmingensis var. Bella. The bulla only shows up slightly but gives the leaves a nice bumpy texture. I have already started production on further mixes with this hybrid where I hope I can bring the bulla out more.

It is named after my sister Crystal.

Begonia ‘Kanom Ping’

Begonia ‘Kanom Ping’ is a hybrid between B. kui and B. ningmingensis var. bella.

Is named after a Thai baked Snack.

Begonia ‘Lamoon’

Begonia ‘Lamoon’ was picked from nearly 100 seedlings from a mix of B. acontifolia and B. U062. Leaves will turn from silver to pink depending on the amount of light to which it is exposed to.

The name ‘Lamoon’ is a Thai word meaning gentle or delicate.

Begonia ‘Luna’s Comet’ (top) and
Begonia ‘Luna’s Wish’ (Bottom)

These are two Begonia variabilis hybrids. The top one Begonia “Luna’s Comet” is B. procridifolia x variabilis while the second one is B. sp. Cosmic Vertigo (an unidentified tuberous species) x variabilis.
